I searching for the Rockford Fosgate scheme T40000i and identification of elements

Hi.
I am searching for the scheme to the RF amplifier Monoblock T40001, I have damaged items, and I can not find their parameters (datasheet).

Please send me suggestions.

Regards.
Lee

Rockford will likely provide a schematic for the amp.

Which parts are damaged?

lee1976 15th July 2009 08:13 PM

MOSFET transistors OUTPUT POWER exchanged;
D 400 elements are damaged, D 401 of the Diode which is printed on Ed 79 and, what it behind diodes, schotky? and transistors Q 400, Q 402, Q 403, This Q 400 and Q 403 is DH 29 symbol and 56, Q 402 symbol and 06, is it and marking and 06 & and 56?

Pease help me

Transistors found

SOT223 - MPSA56/06
STO23 - MPSA92

....
but I do not know how to model diodes
symbol ED79A logo http://www.ibsstore.com/ProdImages/Do-219AB.bmp

power transistors IRFP260N all 20 pieces?

Perry Babin 16th July 2009 05:07 PM

The larger transistors are PZTA instead of MPSA. The smaller transistor is MMBTA instead of MPSA. The symbol is for General Semiconductor which is now Vishay.

The diodes are likely ES2Ds:

Perry Babin You are The Best :worship:

I know that the original is PZTA
but I wanted to use the MPSA

Tomorrow we will try to run the amplifier

Thank you very much, Regards.Lee

The MPSA part could be used for testing but it's unlikely that it could dissipate enough heat to survive long term. The PZTA uses the board as a heatsink.

Hi Perry

Welcome to all members

I came back

Waiting for a package from DigiKey for original transistors PZTA and other
I have a question .... Are all power transistors OUTPUTS are N-Channel HEXFET Power MOSFET ? (20 pieces IRFP260N )

Perry Babin 22nd July 2009 07:36 AM

I don't know. If no one else can answer this question, email Rockford for a copy of the schematic.

Output mosfets all IRFP260N.Before power up the amp .I reccomend you to install only four output mosfets. This amp is full bridge,so put two to each part of the bridge.I repaired 10001BD and 20001BD .I had problem with driver stage and half of mosfets got shorted in a second. No any heat,no fuse blow
