Auxiliary Audio Input

I am looking for an Auxiliary Audio Input Interface Kit to go in a 2003 Ford Explorer with an in-dash 6 CD player. Are there any that will work with that radio? I found a bunch but they all seem to have the "except for radios with 6-disc in-dash CD changer" tagline attached. I am just trying to figure out a way to play my Ipod through the radio without using an FM modulator (which is pretty crappy quality).

I would think 6-disc indash units were less likely to have the need for an Aux-in, since an remote changer isn't needed.

Have you tried an FM modulator before? They can work much better than you'd think.

yeah, i have an FM modulator and it's not very good. The quality is decent some of the time but once you get near a big city where all the stations are taken it's no good.

The only FM modulators that are even remotely worthy of use are the digital PLL variety that fit inline with the HU antenna.
