subwoofer box for suv
 
looking for a down firing box for the cargo area
so it will not take up space and i will not have to take out ever time i go get groceries

i know most of them is custom built so if you have any pics that will help also

Depends on what music you listen to. If you want a small box that sounds nice and goes deep, then I'd say get a more expensive sub and it will need a larger amp. Something like an Idmax will get deep in a small box. If you just need loud then you can go with other subs but they will not get as low. Ported is more efficient, but larger so might as well stay with sealed. It will take up more room to downfire, most only do that for a reason such as a console mounted sub.

Something like that...wouldn't be too tough to fiberglass, and would leave your cargo area open for groceries.
