Depends on what music you listen to. If you want a small box that sounds nice and goes deep, then I'd say get a more expensive sub and it will need a larger amp. Something like an Idmax will get deep in a small box. If you just need loud then you can go with other subs but they will not get as low. Ported is more efficient, but larger so might as well stay with sealed. It will take up more room to downfire, most only do that for a reason such as a console mounted sub.
