Hi I have a rockford fosgate t500.2 that has 45.9 DC volt on the left and right speaker out put. it looks to have been worked on before. the transistors all check out good but the LM337T & LM317T & U1620 & U1620R all get hot fast. I'm kinda new to this and I do have a good test meter. THANK YOU!!

T5002?
With the black meter probe on the chassis ground, post the DC voltage on all of the legs of the components you mentioned.

Were the voltages on the LM337 and the center leg of the 1620R negative?
Is the DC voltage on the non-bridging speaker terminals at ~0v? Is the DC on both speaker terminals positive or is one (or both) negative? Email Rockford and get the schematic diagram for this amp. Email me a copy of it. babin_perry@yahoo.com
