I have a Crossfire VR404 that I've been using for a little while for my mids and highs, it gets the job done for the time being, but lately I've been having some problems with the sound going from loud to low or even completely out.

Have you taken the amp apart and inspected the solder joints on the RCAs? They might be bad causing an intermittent signal when the cables are moved around.
Or the RCAs could be worn out, which seems to be your thought. In which case, I wouldn't know of a good replacement lol. =) |
