I've been working on a car restoration and have spent some time researching what type of system I want to build. I've pretty much decided upon the Nakamichi CD700II as it fits my needs and I am pleased with the sound quality in the cars I have sat in.
My only issue is that this unit has been on the market for quite a while and knowing my luck I will shell out the serious $$$ for one only to have Nakamichi announce the CD700III or equivalent. I've contacted Nakamichi to see if there is anything in the works as the CD700II does predate HD radio, satellite and mp3 technologies and these additions would make sense. So far nothing back from them. Does anyone have an inside scoop or knowledge about how Nakamichi runs things? |
