Im with Tomtom on this one.
I have always been a fan of large diaphragm subs and remember one of the best sounding setup I have ever built had a pair of Kicker C18s iso'ed and crossed below 50 with a ton of power and was matched with 8-C8s crossed from 45-80Hz.
I had to experiment with driver placement and fill but got it to where it balanced real nice.
I say go for the JackHammer and make it sound good.....
