I need to buy a sub amp with 600 watts RMS to run a JL 13tw5. There seem like a lot of bargains on Craigslist, but fear buying a piece of junk. Is there a basic test I can do to see if it works properly?

If you gave me $20, I'd take the Audiobahn.
IOW, steer clear. Shoddy build, espacially that one. Unreliable in my experience. A friend asked me about fixing that exact model for him. |

Thanks much. I suspected that might be the case. Would you mind naming any other brands that it might be prudent to avoid in the second hand marketplace?
