rockford no longer has that transformer nor does landis.

so im gonna rewind it myself. Wondering can i get away with just rewinding the shorted lead. or do i need to rewind the entire tansformer

If the shorted/burned winding is on the top layer, you can probably only rewind that winding. Remember, there were two windings shorted together (one from the primary and one from the secondary). If you only re-wind half of it, you will need to insulate (or avoid contact with) the bare spot on the remaining winding.

Remember to count the windings as you remove them.
