wondering if anyone knows where i can get some thermal pad like 3" by 6 to8" pieces for an amp im working on i need it to work for to 220 style any help would greatly be appericated

or what ever that stuff is instead of the mica insulators i need that strip they use in amps between the fets and heatsink

Try flea=bay under "Sil-pad" as a search name. There is usually a bunch on sale there and MUCH cheaper then any of the suppliers..
Your looking for Sil-pad type insulators. Don't be surprised how much the regular vendors want for these insulators. |

Sil pads and similar are available in sheet form.
I got some at Rapid.

You can also use Kapton (polyimide) film. You can purchase sheets of this stuff for cheap at that place with item numbers like this....
110151360854 Use a good thermal grease on both sides.
