Default Circut for Bridging Orion GX amps?

Is there a simple circut for bridging the Orion GX model amps using the RCA inputs?

I have heard rumors of someone building one that actually fit inside of the housing of a 5 pin din plug. Maybe somebody here can draw you a diagram.

If you use the DIN input, it can be as simple as the circuit below. There is an op-amp under the resistors. You have to zoom-in or view it actual size to see it. If you want to build something similar, I can post the schematic. If you must use the RCA inputs (without using the on-board power supply), the circuit become much more complex.

(edited out the explanation as Perry covered it while I was typing)

An easier way is to buy this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ORION-400-BDG-BR...d=p3286.c0.m14

Geez, what a long link. If that doesn't work, item # is 200261612700

Be sure you can feed those GX's the current they're going to ask for.

The following folder has a Flash file (.swf extension). You can zoom in to see the details better.

The photos are one I assembled for testing. I used 4.7k resistors in it. I used 10k In the Flash file. Either will work. There are no capacitors in the photos. They are probably not necessary but I'd suggest using them. If you're using Firefox, simply click the photos to zoom in/out.

The op-amp is a TL072.

Where do I get the DIN cables from? Are they standard RCA to DIN cables?

For the DIN bridging module, you'll buy the DIN connector and use standard RCA cables (RCA connectors cut off of one end) to connect to the DIN module components.

Thnks for all the help.

tsmith1315 - I will be using 4 gauge for each GX280 run mono.

Perry - I am not an EE, so I need a little more detail. Where would the caps go.? I have seen the TL072 range in price considerbly, from $1.32 on Parts Express to $11 each (inc. shipping from HK) for these on ebay;

AD8620 SMT Dual Opamp for OPA2604 TL072 NE5532 OPA2132

Does it matter? can your recommend a source?
