i have a planet audio vx2200 a 2250d amp and it was playing fine today and i turned down the volume and then turned it back up and it was no sound the amp still comes on and its not going in to protect mode can some one tell me what to look for inside the amp to see if the outputs or input is blown and if so what to do to repair it

If class d they can be harder to fix, are you sure you checked everything else or swapped another amp to be sure its the amp and not wiring/remote/sub/etc.?

If this amp was produced before they began using the black fixative around the inductors, one of the two filter inductors (near the fan) may have broken loose from the board.
Have you pulled the cover yet to see if anything appears to have burned?

yes i have opened it up and there are no signs off anything burnt i even hook it up on brand new subs in another car and still does the same thing comes on but no sound i really think its the in puts more then the outputs

Is there black fixative around the base of the inductors near the fan?
