Kicker L7

I mite have a chance to trade my 2 12" Dubs for a Kicker 12" L7. Are they cracked up to be decent. Worth it or not.

VERY MUCH WORTH IT. If I remember right the L7 is the equivelent of a 15". They hit hard too.

I have a 12" L5 in a ported enclosure that will get REALLY LOUD. The only downside is I find the Kicker Solo-baric series to be more along the lines of SPL than SQ.

are you looking for SQ or SPL?
Another question is how much amplifier power do you have?
Dub is an Audiobahn with a funny grill that looks like a rim right? But still an Audiobahn which only handles a few hundred watts.
An L7 handles a couple thousand watts and has the coning space of a 15", However in high excursion these subs tend to be a little less than linear and the littlest bit of distortion will smoke a coil!

If you want SPL get the L7, For SQ build a custom enclosure for the dubs

I dont think the audiobahns. They say nothing about audiobahn in the booklet that came with them. They say Dub200 Mag Audio. I mite add they have been jamming pretty hard with my PPI PCX2000 and are still going.
