Default Blaupunkt Berlin IRQ88 iPod interface

Hello,

I have a Blaupunkt Berlin IRQ88 in my 1990 BMW. Does anyone have an iPod solution for this system? I'd like to have a line input and to be able to control it from the head unit.

Default ipod for old car radio

it is possible to buy an fm modulator/transmitter which will tune into one of your radio stations. you then plug your ipod/mp3/cd changer into the modulator and off you go. Alternatively sell the Berlin IRQ88 to me for big money (I am looking for one for my old Porsche 911) and buy yourself a new unit with all the modern day toys.

Do you have the manual for the Berlin? A fine machine it is.

Default berlin

hi this is an old post but i have a manual for the berlin and have an ipod/line in mod for it. it has an aux line in that you switch on by taking a specific pin to high voltage. i can confirm wiring if required - it works a treat, sound is on par with the latest gear - remember these units were £2000!
