im working on an ads amp and checked the powersupply fets 1 of the 4 fets was shorted the smp6n06's is what they used i checked the diodes and resistors and they all seem fine wondering do i need to check anything else before i stick the new fets in and power it up also checked all outputs and they seem to be fine

SMP60N06 would be more like it. Just about any general purpose 60 amp or higher fet will work just fine.
Diodes, and outputs would be my first checkouts also, until you can get it fired up...
