I can get a great deal on some Irf3205 in the TO-262 casings.I having problems finding ample supply in TO-220 (200 or more of the same lot) with decent pricing.Any suggestions on a source or application would help.

Activeparts on ebay has them most of the time. Nice fella also, I got lots of parts from him in the past for reasonable prices. Always seems to have good parts and no worries about Chinese counterfeit parts from his source by my experience. Heres a link to his sales ad on e-bay.

Thanks for the link, justonemoreamp, not sure if he's willing to come down on the price though.
Perry, have you bought from them before?Pricing similar to the TO-262.The TO-262 I can get fairly quickly.I may give them a try in the furture (next day or two),but I need to get out of a jam now with 4 memphis 1000D all power supplies. Any technical suggestions, for or against, the substitution? |

I've been buying from them for 10 years or so. If you need them in a hurry, you should use something other than ground shipping. Sometimes, it takes a while for them to process orders that use ground shipping. Orders using 2-day shipping are processed immediately.
I've never used the TO-262 case transistors. If the clamps will hold them, they should work.
