Default connecting s609 changer to 7909?

can i use the cha - s609 changer with my 7909 radio? i've tried connecting the two using the alpine ainet to mbus adapter, but it still doesn't work. can someone point out how to change the wiring so i can use them?

Early high end M-bus components run the audio signal outside the M-bus cable; this allows (forces) you to use a RCA cable in conjuction to the M-bus cable. In order to combine a standard M-bus (or in your case an AI-net adapated) source to something line the 7909 you need an Alpine 4913 adaptor which converts the M-bus to M-bus + RCA. You can accomplish the same thing by simply pulling the source wires from the M-bus cable and soldering them to a pair of RCAs at either end of the M-bus cable. As a long time Alpine collector, I happen to have a spare 4913 if you're interested, just PM me. You might also find a 4913 on eBay, they come up from time to time and don't sell for much.
