hey guys a while agao when i turned on my car i heard a pretty loud popping noise out of all my speakers and then music would play for about 1-2 seconds and then stop for a moment then play again, and continues to do this when left on. the clip, power, and protect lights flash on and off as this happens. i have my 4 chanel infinity amp powering my fronts and rears each speaker to a channel. i dont have the gains very high and i cant think of anything that would have caused the amp to stop working properly. i have isolated the problem to that amp as i have another mono amp becide it running off the same power source and it continues to opperate as it always has. iv tried disconecting all of the speakers to the amp and it still turns on and off. iv taken the amp appart to and looked inside but i didnt see anything very noticable. i dont have any experience with working on amps but iv wired up a few different systems in my car with no problems. any suggestions of what i could test for or look for would be great thanks.

With no speakers connected and no signal input, is there any DC voltage across the speaker terminals of any of the channels? Measure across each set of speaker terminals as the amp powers up.
If so, are all channels the same or do you only get DC on one channel?
