ok great, i'll update once the parts arrive in a week and I get a chance to install/test.

Your a great help Perry!

P.S. Is there a cheap oscilloscope you would recommend I look for used on e-bay? I would like it for amplifier repairs, and for lab's for school.

Email me with the auction numbers for scopes you're considering.

babin_perry@yahoo.com

Try to find a Tektronix 465 or a 465B. The 2200 series Tek scopes are also a good choice. The 453 is a good scope but some people don't like the small display.

Don't consider any scope unless it shows a bright clear locked waveform or unless it has a warranty.

I think im going to order a MMBF4091, it seems to be the closest match to the sst111-t1 that I could find on Mouser.com

Why are you going to replace the original one?

You need to purchase Perry's amplifier repair tutorial CD.

Well I received the parts and got the amp up and running again. I piggy backed a 3 watt 15V zener with the zener that is already in the +15V supply section, replaced the opamps, and some 10 ohm resistors up on the x-over board.

Now with me lightly running it and checking temperatures on the amp the 15V zeners are running over 150 degrees and the opamps are running over 170 degrees. Is this normal? Or is there something else I should be looking out for?
