The insides are probably a Z200C2. I bid on a couple of Zapco as they went real cheap. But I didn't try too hard to win them because I have enough Zapcos already. Still... I regret not getting them now.
But I did buy a '25 to life' Punch 150 for $160 shipped. So that's why I passed on the Zapcos. |

Sorry for the shameless plug but I'm selling my earthquake phd2 and the pyramid/PPI 2075 on ebay. Might even sell the a600.2 amps. I'm thinking of getting one multichannel amp and calling it a day. I don't have any subs to run with the phd2 and even though the ppi's are awesome I am all about shaving weight on my car. Although I love deep loud bass I don't need it and no one that rides with me cares for anything louder than headunit power

Man this thead starting to wander. The best thing about "Old School Amps" most still sound pretty good and they are repairable. Too bad that sound quality goes down so fast as the car goes up in speed. Everthing sounds better at the competition.

Lol my amps don't sound any worse when the car is going faster. But yeah the older ones are usually easier to repair and your ear can't tell the difference in a 1991 and 2002 ppi 300 watt rms amp so...

.As long as you're shamelessly promoting, why don't post the item #'s?

It's overkill. Way more than I need. I'm sure I will be selling it. Especially since is about the size of 3 old 150s put together.

what's the difference between a Soundstream P203 and the P203e? there's someone selling the P203 locally for about $87. thinking of getting it for a simple system in dad's pickup... worth getting or not? haven't checked the actual condition of the amp though...
