Default blade grenade amp

anybody remember them
they came with a 1/4" jack that you plugged into it to activate it
does anybody know how this pin works
i have a customer that bought these off me 10 years ago
got rid of his vehicle and pulled his amps out less the hardware
so know he has two almost brand new amps that don't work

I think it's just a resistance-match. I don't believe there is anything digital associated with it. Stick a 100k pot across the tip and sleeve of a 1/4" plug and rotate until the amp turns on.
