Dayton makes pretty good subs, note they have different versions for various uses and power levels. So what kind of power and box you going to need to use? Type of music/use/etc? Just one sub? If you are looking for quality sound, dayton is not a bad choice at all for that price range. I want to try a mach5 next time I buy new and they fit what I want to do. Thinking about an MJ to run IB but not sure yet, might have to try another idea first.

I want something that I can work into my false floor. I've got a VW GTI and am wanting to build a false floor. Haven't measured the dimensions yet and don't know how much space I have to work with. Can you give me a link or two to a sub that will work well? I mostly listen to rap, reggae, some techno/trace, and rock sometimes.

15" have a hard time keeping up with fast music.
I have 2 12" in my car, and they have a hard time keeping up with the bass when it's hitting fast. 15" are fantastic for hip hop and all that... But I wish I went with 10" Actually. |
