Need help with Orion HCCA425

Can anyone assist me in sourcing a part for an Orion HCCA425 amp? When connected, the speakers emit a crackling sound.
My local repairer mentioned that the problem may be a faullty "level controller". I would be most grateful for any suggestions.

Can you post a photo of the amp's internals or a link (ampguts) to one that's the same model?

Do you have a part number for the part you need?

The amp is with my repairer so I can't take photos. Will try to obtain a part number from him on Monday. This is the model: http://ampguts.realmofexcursion.com/Orion_HCCA425/

The only level controller in that amp is the gain control.

If the pots are not physically damaged, he should be able to clean them to get rid of the noise.

Thanks for the input Perry. I'll have to find out further information from the repairer....I am fairly certain that he didn't refer to the gain control.
