I have a 1.0 cubic foot sealed box. If i wanted to port it to say 38Hz, how long would the port have to be and what diameter? im running a 10" MTX7500. thanks

Its gonna be hard to fit a properly tuned port into a box that small.If you use a 3 inch diameter port(the minimum i would use) and are trying to acheive a 38 hz tuning your looking at an almost 11 inch long port IF your box has 1 cubic foot of airspace in it after port and speaker displacement.If your starting off with 1 cube of airspace your not gonna be anywhere near 1 cube after you get that port and sub in there.Also that 3 inch diameter port should have at least 3 inches of space behind it to keep the air flowing smoothly.Unless your putting a portion or all of that port outside the box its gonna be hard to acheive what your after.
