I remember working with those. If those aren't the IB ones, you will need about 2 cu. ft. per sub for sure. You might get by with 1.5, but that's about the smallest. They worked in either ported or sealed configuration, but the ported of course needed even more space. Thus why Kicker started their Solobaric line to compensate for excessive box sizes (& because of the isobaric craze that was going on).

I used to run 2cf for each 10" with a short port and it hammered with those old IB subs, nearly what 4 of them did IB. That was on 120-300w depending on how amp was rated, and they were hitting xmax.

Welcome back to the 80's, and big subwoofer boxes! As many others have said 1.5-2.5 ft per 12" was typical of Kickers (aka Stillwater Designs) back then, as well as most other 12's. There were some variations, however.

Is there a model #? If you still need parameters, I should still have them in a notebook (spiral, not laptop) somewhere.
