that may be true. i'm not sure how they would do in the automotive environment unless you mounted them in a metal case for shielding or lined the plastic case with copper or aluminum foil and used good shielded signal cables away from factory harnesses and power wires.
if i was in your shoes i would simply start with a full speaker upgrade powered off of the factory amp and see if that helps. it should! and go from there with new amps and signal proccesors in the future. i'm thinking that the speakers are probably your weakest link at this point. |

I came to the same decision. I'm ordering the speakers tomorrow. I'll update you. Since there's zero highs right now it can't be any worse and hopefully a lot better until I figure out a amp solution.
