have usb readers come to your town yet?

i was walking down in the electronics district the other day and noticed, equalizers/preamps with usb flash readers.

have these been around for a long time now, or am i just extremely out of date?

i notice these popping up in cd players now too....

hows the sound quality?

Mine sounds great. (Kenwood kdc x890 cd player) Original store bought cd's do sound better though. But at least its skip proof for those times I need to stretch the sub surrounds a little.

i guess not everyoneas one yet.

i was just thinking, i used to have a computer cd-rom installed in my car a lonnnnggg time ago, i wonder if i can hook up a computer sd card reader to my pre-amp....
