What are the pros and cons of each. I have heard that 3" are the best and 4" are best but do each have there benefits and drawbacks? Thanks...Polo.

i read a while back that a it takes around 2000 watts for a 4" coil to have the same db as a 3" coil at 1200 watts....but the person doing the experiment didnt say whether the magnet size was the same and what the compliance of the suspension was... the guy was shocker mike
magnet stength is determined by the width of the magnet not neccessarily the depth... the bigger the coil the more heat it can dissipate. my subs have a 3.5" coil.....LOL.....lets me sleep at night |

Funny it seems to be the competition who don't really like them maybe it is cost that keeps them from using them? Polo..
