Does anyone have any power supply schematics between +/- 20 and +/- 27 for a car amplifier?

What's the total output power of the amplifier you're building?
Can you provide any other details?

Use this core: F-140A-F From CWS Bytemark: http://www.cwsbytemark.com/prices/toroidal.php Wind the core with a 1:2 ratio. Use 4+4 on the primary side and 8+8 on the secondary side. I'd suggest using two 14g for the primary and a single 14g for the secondary. If you want to use finer strands, use the equivalent amount of copper (~8000 circular mils on the primary and 4000 circular mils on the secondary). Go to the wire page of my car audio site if you want to use a different wire gauge and you don't understand 'circular mils'. If someone knows of a regulated power supply schematic online, please post the link. It would be better to have regulation for this chip but the supply from the ESP site will work.

Ok.... so i dont need a power supply for it anymore. We have a huge power supply at my skills center that can power it. Im only doing this to pass my Senior Project but afterwords i will construct a power supply so i can actually use it.
Ill start a new thread soon showing my construction steps incase anyone is curious |
