Clarion DRX-9255 with Digital Out
Does the ol-skool Clarion DRX-9255 comes with digital out cable from the CE-NET cable? Or it's just digital in
No, this unit was different, and is digital IN only. I had one of those units years ago.
Some other Clarion models had fiber optic .outputs , for use with their digital signal processors.
However, their fiber optic cables have a proprietary round connector (not standard TOSLINK you can get anywhere) and were ridiculously overpriced.
The DRX-9255 allows a digital input from their old CD changers.
I finally got tired of all of that and went with Alpine, and use a $10 eBay TOSLINK cable to my Alpine 5.1 DSP/surround decoder
Also, Ce-Net is only the control bus cable when the digital input is being used. Hence, it is not really relevant.
