Oh you mean like the ARC2075SE? Looks like something "hi end" ARC Audio carries. Whoops! To enlarge an image, just left click and drag the mouse to the top of your address bar (in IE).

So who makes it and who clones it?

It's not made by UBUY, but UBUY is a distributor of ARC with house brands of its own. It says so right on their page. You know that Best Buy's house brand is called Insignia - but they don't make Yamaha Receivers. Wal-Mart's house brand is Durabrand, but they don't build Sony boomboxes.

It's a marketing site. Quite apparent from their misleading article about "Regulated Power Supplies" being somehow more robust and better designed than unregulated supplies. Typical marketing drivel.

So, if you visit Nikola's website under "Friendly Links" you will see that Cerwin Vega, Arc Audio, Clarion and others are mentioned as being designed by Nikola engineering. Of course, they are all mentioned in the links above - from the same factory. I have some serious, professionally informed doubts that Nikola Engineering is actually responsible for circuit design of these amplifiers. More likely, they are purchasing agents for Clarion, Cerwin Vega and ARC Audio and play a tiny role in the actual design, if any. Feel free to prove me wrong, as I cannot definitively substantiate this other than to inspect the design from photos and recognize key similarities with other Korean/Chinese designs.

Dear Peter Babin

I would like to buy a SMPS for my car audio amp circuit. The circuit uses 1 LM3875/channel and I would like to use 4 channels (LR Front+LR Rear). Supply voltage is single +50 V. 2-3 Amps should be enough. I saw many posts in the theme, but single supply was not among them. I would pay for a ready one, if someone would be so kind to made it.

Thanks in advance

E.K.
