Hi all, with a Longmill 10", I could do a nice 100l box of extended bass shelf. That takes up most of the space in my hatch. Could the whole of the boot/trunk be utilised?
My main concern is to still be able to use the space for carrying, so maybe if I made the whole of the boot/trunk, a cabinet, whats best to be able to hinge a panel with the trunk/boot door to make it possible to chuck the shopping in there, when needed?, do you follow? Cheers Mike

I was thinking a hinged panel, a tight clamping clasp of a sort with a rubber seal around the perimeter to make air tight. Clasp similar to front loading washing machine door?
Any takers? Mike

It should work well. You could make the top or part of the top removable. Rubber hood latches (link below) should be quiet enough. The number required would depend on the power used to drive the woofer and the size of the removable cover. Closed cell foam weather stripping would seal it well.
