I have an Extreme 500watt mono amp. I connected the positive correctly, and I tried to bypass the rem by connecting it to the negative part of the battery, should I be worried? it never went on, so I disconnected it after 5 minuts of trying, did I fry it?
and would the fuses have stoped any real damage. hate to say it but I'm a noob to installs. and it was grounded. |

The remote wire of your amp needs +12 volts on it to turn the amp on. If all you did was applied ground to it, that would not have damaged the amp.
