Hi,
one pair of tip35c will struggle into an 8ohm load.
The DC SOAR limits output to 8ohm 45degree phase angle and Tc<=40degC. This means it can only drive a gentle speaker load if the heatsink is kept below 30degC.
Into 4ohm it is even worse allowing only 25degree phase angle.
The TIPs do not gain much for transient signal handling. Look at how close the 5mS is to the DC SOA.
You need 2pair for 8ohm loading at car temperatures and probably 3 or 4pair for 4ohm loading.

Hi,
there are many commercial manufacturers for whom this is a good specification
This means it can only drive a gentle speaker load if the heatsink is kept below 30degC.
and the result is broken amps that need replacing very frequenctly, particularly if abused during a party. The manufacturers don't mind, as there are some other gullible buyers that keep replacing their gadgets every year anyway.

If one requires reliability then the conditions must be met or the devices doubled up.
