ml cls one plytron transformer (75-1) or accoustat twin transformer mod

Posted 12th October 2011 at 05:21 AM by teslaboy

hi
I collect esl speakers and mod some.
I have both ML CLS 1`s and cls 2Z speakers.
i would like to mod both speakers.
I would like to use my plytron 75-1 esl transformers
instead of the stock transformer.(CLS-1) should i
start from scratch or use the ML original eq with modifications. Also on the ML CLS2 i want to use
one original transformer for bass and a toroid for the highs like the acoustat MK 121 interface.
Should i use the same values as acoustat or use
other values. I value any ideas the community may
have, I have followed Calvin for many years and would like to thank him for his inspiration.
thanks
