problem DAC Krell studio

i have set krell CDT DM-1 , dac studio and preamp.
i sad.
i cann't used my set because my dac is fail.
the problem it can't locking when i connecting with CDT. i think this must fail at board digital input and filter.
there are to old.

i can not find what wrong? i see krell's pcb is complex and closed. this is dificul.
i have tried check board pcb digital.but no have meansure intrument like digital analyser. become i not know how?
my be jitter or digital reciver or xtal or ect problem.

I think “ why I did not try to use part of the DAC Krell was still good: power supply and the overall analogues by replacing the digital part of the DAC”
When I see there is a chart on Web andrea ciuffoli DAC. with a detailed explanation of the parts that can be used. to replace the digital
board from my Krell DAC.

I started looking for parts needed:
digital reciver: CS8414
Digital fiter: NPC 5843 (20 bit DAC from Krell adjusted using the PCM63 _ 20 bit)

Stage exploration:
I tried to trace the path of digital pcb (3 layers) and analog dac Krell. so I can figure out the path of sections pcb board pcb board digital to analog from the dac.
the problem how I should compose a part of the CS8414 digital reciver to NPC5843 digital filter to obtain compatibility with analog lines from DAC Krell.
I was lucky to get help from friends. I began to compile a benchmark that reception of digital signal received by the CS8414 coax CDT processed to obtain input data into digital filters NPC8534 for 20bit so the data obtained will be fed to the PCM 63.
when stringing how to feed data from the CS8414 to the npc 8534. with reference data.
I use the serial port lines for cs8414 16 bit format LSBJ, to be fed into NPC8543. which can accept 16-bit input data.

Stage asammbly
I started assembling the input with reciver CS8414 NPC8543 on blank PCB board with the hard wiring for easy with no need to make a pcb track.
after so a new digital board, I am ready to install the DAC Krell that I have off the digital board.
tatapi it is not as simple as I thought that I should check the DAC PCM63 analog lines.
I need to do first lift out the relay on analog, baypass track out to RCA.

the problem both on analog circuit to circuit section IV , have IC JFET (for IV and buffer IC BB131x8) with ground-DG212. This is still so my question "is correct in a way baypass DG 212 without activating"

the next stage wiring:
connect the 5v supply line from the powersupply to a new digital board and partly to the analog board.
15VDC supply connects to the analog line.
connecting lines: BCKO, WCKO, DOL and DOR from NPC 5843 to DAC PCM63 Dual mono, on analog board.

STAGE TRY:
I prepare my system with DAC krell “new”
Turned on , and dac can lock, but the resultant sound is small and the dominant noise.
Why ??
After traced it turns out there are not the IC NP8543 is connected to gnd. Repair that.
Try again….. dAC is oke…………. Can run.

RESULT
The results of the sound?
according to my thinking by replacing the digital board then I will get good results.
But the resulting sound unusual when compared to Krell DAC can still be used.
no detail and poor sound. high tone is lost.

My question "what's wrong"
may be I’m still have not been and is not.
Must try and erro again
I'm still sad .....................................
