Cardas wire

I tried soldering some Cardas Litz wire today. NEVER EVER EVER EVER again I tell you!!!
That **** is horrible to solder and I don't care how good they claim it to be.

Yeah...I hate soldering litz wire. Any litz really. I can't sleep at night wondering how many little seperate litzes actually were not soldered.

Hi markusG, if you'll send an email to our tech support department (techsupport @ cardas dot com) with the wire gauge you're working with, I'll make sure one of our techs gets back to you with tips on working with it. I know they'll suggest the use of flux, and ideally a solder pot, but they might have other ideas if you don't have those tools available.Posted 20th January 2010 at 10:23 PM by josh@cardas
