A short quick upgrade for my Ceasar II Mono´s
to push the sq to the limit...

The last upgrade i made is to swap from the very good sounding Emission Labs 300B-XLS to

For me the best sounding 300B on the market!

Review of the 1st Upgrade

In my tireless search for the best sounding parts, i stumbled over an advertisement on partsconnexion.
Duelund Cast-PIO-Cu 630VDC Caps, 0.22µF 34mmD x 41mmH and 0.47µF 34mmD x 61mmH
Both with 27mm radial lead spacing.

This is finally a size that allows to integrate the Duelund Cast cap into a normal case!
Also these are the two values that are in my Ceasar II 300B mono block and the price is much lower than the MRSP Retail Price.

Because of the numerous recommendations all over the world and the lucky chance to listen over one of the best speaker, the Avantgarde Acoustic Duo Omega,
i decided to test them vs. my Mundorf silver/gold/oil.

Now the first 40 hrs. of burn-in are over.

To be honest, the Mundorf silver/gold/oil is really a great sounding cap and one of the best on the market especially for the price,

but

i was not prepared for what awaits me...

These caps sound so much better in every aspect compared to the Mundorf s/g/o, that i´ve got goose bumps for minutes!
A whole new sound experience.

This openness, clarity, three-dimensionality... I have never heard my rig sounding so natural and with so many subtleties and micro informations, incredible...
I think i need to hear all my music again

A big thank´s to partsconnexion, that they made it possible to bring this outstanding capacitor in such a compact housing to the market!
