If you would build the DDNF I/V stage with my PSU & Salas Shunt modules,
you could order a custom made transformer at
AE-Europe.

It has the following data:

Primary:

115-0 / 115-0
(for 115V & 230V usage)

Secondary:

24V-0-24V / 2A
24V-0 / 2A
Magnetic Shield

You could order two versions:

- Standard: EI-core € 64,-

- High End: C-core (same size as 30317) € 112,-

Prices are excl. shipping and VAT
Delivery time around 6 weeks after order.

Just a comment: i have used a 2x21v transformer to feed salas shunts outputting +-19v. I noticed the heatsinks get very hot. I'm unsure if 24vac input to the shunts is too much/on the edge.

With my 20V transformer for the -15VDC line of the TDA1541A,
the heatsinks are in "good" thermic condition (200mA shunt current set with 10R).
How is your current setting for the lines?

Exactly the same config in the salas regs as you use, except higher Vin and Vout... And significantly hotter (but not so hot that the fets burn), i cant hold the heatsink for longer than a sec or two

    As expected.
However, you could change the heatsink on the shunt regs as followed:

    Standard Heatsink:
    Aavid Thermalloy 513102B02500G - 11 C/W - Mouser Part No.: 532-513102B25

    Hotrod Heatsink:
    Aavid Thermalloy 531202B02500G - 7.5 C/W - Mouser Part No.: 532-531202B25G
