EMT 950 Turntable

Posted 31st August 2011 at 04:00 AM by Davo58

Has anybody had to try and play discs that run at slower speeds than 33 rpm.
We have some 24 rpm and 16 rpm discs that we need to digitise and was wondering if you hve been able to slow down your EMT950 to be able to do this.

This should probably have been posted in the analog source forum. It's very unlikely to get any action here.

Look at the Siemens Micromaster line of AC motor drives, they can provide 3 phase power to the motor and can be precisely adjusted to a wide range of frequencies which should make it possible to run your table at odd speeds.

    MICROMASTER - English - Siemens

As a moderator I would offer to move this, but I am not sure how..
