Hi, anyone know how to determine the polarity of old Elna caps? They are orange electrolitics but have no indication of the negative side.

By burning a corrected CD, you can easily understand DRC indeed works, but with 1 or 2 bits resolution loss. That's due to the equalization of magnitude frequency response.

Using 18 or even more bits is a must.
