I have a Technics SP-10 MkI that works well (no speed problems) but will not stop using the start/stop button. I have searched the forum but have only seen issues related to speed problems.
Any help would be appreciated. |

I had an SP-10 mkII with exactly the same problem. It turned out to be the big transistor that drives the brake solenoid. I replaced it with an MJE340 and everything was fine. It may be similar in your mkI.

And you did check the obvious; the switch itself?
