They must be right when they say these arms are very rare to find.

They are quite rare, I had one of these arms up until a few years ago.
Try Audiogon which I think is unlikely. You might find one through EIFL in Japan. (Write to Koji) I can't think of anywhere else you might possibly find one of these.

Default AudioCraft are still in business

but haven't made, or supported, their tonearms since 2002

You *can't* order the tonearm tubes new; AudioCraft don't have 'em

Hi Panicos K,
That's why I suggested you contact Koji over at EIFL, he speaks good English, and may be able to help you find a good used arm - if not he might be able to at least guide you in the right direction.

Link here: http://www.eifl.co.jp/index/export/export2.htm

Click the link to Inquiry form (English) on the home page. EIFL sells all sorts of new and used components, books, etc..

Default Audiocraft

your best bet will be searching the Yahoo Japan Auction

http://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/

Put "audiocraft" in the search parameter

Already talked to Audiocraft and they neither have stock, Parts, support, or service for any AC tonearm; Used will be the only way to fly

Hi Panicos K,
If you are using firefox, just install the Foxlingo extension and it will do a somewhat passable job translating Japanese websites into English..
