Twin Pivot Tone Arm

Has anyone made a twin pivot, i.e. vertical movement given by twin "unipivots". It would do away with the problems regarding azimuth etc. once properly set up.
I am embarking on such a design using either a ceramic tube or a carbon beam along with a base pillar from a broken SEAC. Mass for me is not a problem as i use the stiffest mc cartridges available.
Any comments or experiences will be appreciated.

Hi,

Once you use two points you lose the horizontal movement so
you might as well use knife edges, which is exactly what SME did.
