Default Another way

is to use somthing like this Monster y-split, and solder resistors over a pair RCA-plugs. (or caps, for MM-loading).

Although I agree that a rotary switch or parallel rca's will provide the convinience of experimentation,in my opinion these can do more harm than good to the final sound.Perhaps doing such a loading device and use it till you decide what you like more and then solder directly in the phono stage the chosen resistors,would be the best thing to do.It will cost less too.

That's the point. Noting that bulgin makes cartridges, he needs a means of quickly and efficiently testing them. The custom decade box would be just for that, not for a permanent installation.
