Would anyone know if the Audio Technica ML440 cartridge has bass similar to the Shure V-15 Vxmr ?
The Shure I understand is now discontinued. Thanks. Ashok.

I own the AT 440MLa and like it just fine. There is a discussion at http://www.stevehoffman.tv/forums/ar...p/t-80334.html that compares the two cartridges.

If you're living in the US (or in Japan) you could go for the Audio Technica 150MLX cartridge, which I believe to be on about the same level as the great Shure V15V.
Cheers, Hannes Audio Technica 150MLX |
