My first post.....
I've just bought a secondhand Systemdek for beer money fitted with a Linn Basik LVX arm. The arm has a little damage to the tube up by the headshell so I may want to change it for a different one in the future. Is it possible to get plates for such as the Rega rb300 or are there other simpler alternatives. Or is it easy to make a plate to fit the rega to the Systemdek 11X (with teardrop plate). |

Hi,
Making a plate is relatively easy. Most non-rega arms you could get hold of second-hand, Linn, Logic, Helius etc will fit the Linn mounting hole / dimensions. For a Rega you would need some large washers for arm hieght adjustment. /sreten.

Hi,
rb250 works well. It is stiffer around the bearing yoke than the rb300 and responds better to the tweaks available to upgrade the back end (weights extensions etc).
