HP Reel to Reel

decades of dealing with HP equipment this is a first (yes, I did have a tape drive for my HP-41C with its HP-IL Bus)

I have seen many of these Data recorders. usually have many FM channels with lo-fi analog voice notation channels. I have seen portables, big, little and lots of formats!

It would take a complete electronics + head transplant to even start to make these into something, and then the transport isnt that good.

These are cool looking and fun to play with but thats about all there good for!

I see the tape is "electrically certified"; over here, condoms used to be "electronically tested" (what for, I have no idea).
