Aiwa F 660 & 770 Cassette deck Drive Belts

I have both of these Aiwa cassette decks, both with the same fault, ie the drive belts have stretched with age, and no longer stay on the dual flywheels. They are of the flat belt variety, and I can't seem to find anyone who makes or sells suitable replacements. Don't suppose anyone out there in DIY land has any idea's where I might be able to get 4 from, as apart from that both of these decks are still in fine working order and certainly sound better than newer additions to my collection

I might have a spare, but not four of them. I seem to remember getting them from a guy on eBay with all kinds of belts. Let me know the size.

thanks Pixpop. The belts are overall about 25mm X 5 mm, flat type. This is in their current over stretched state, so I guess something around 20-22.5mm x 5mm. There are 2 in each deck, but even if I could get a couple from somwhere I could sort one of them.

Are you sure of that measurement? It seems remarkably short for a drive belt - 25 mm is only one inch. Is that the flattend out length or the diameter of the circle?

oops, typo. It's 250mm (about 10") continuous length, so around 200-220MM X 5mm

The smallest my regular supplier has in 5mm is 377mm long.
He can supply your required length in 4mm if that's any help.
